We’ve had a fabulous year here in South Florida – and want to extend a huge thank you to our customers, partners, and employees. It’s been a pleasure working with all of you in 2016 and we appreciate your help in making this year one of the strongest thus far.
In 2016 we celebrated our 20 Year anniversary as a top South Florida datacenter, with the launch of our 20/2.0 Vision initiative. 20 years is a huge milestone in this ever-changing industry. We know our longevity and success can be attributed to our ability to hire and retain the very best employees, as well as our constant focus on listening to our clients and adapting our service offering to their IT needs and requirements. Our 20/2.0 initiative included a new website, solution-focused resources, and a rededicated to our Technology Humanized™ approach – people focused philosophy
At Host.net, we explain to each and every one of our clients we are here to keep them and their data connected and protected. We are dedicated to continued growth with our clients, and within the marketplace as a whole.
Designing The Right Solutions for You
We also recently announced partnerships with Zerto and EVault from Carbonite stemming from a growing demand from our clients for resilient, flexible and cost-effective disaster recovery and backup options. Through these key partnerships our DRaaS options became even stronger. Companies of all sizes are mindful of minimizing downtime due to manmade issues and natural disasters, and as a South Florida datacenter operator, Host.net is laser focused on ensuring our facilities and services are secure and always available. Through our DRaaS, we can customize options for every customer and take into consideration your tolerance for downtime and recovery objectives. Whether you need daily backups or real time replication, Host.net can help you set Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), while balancing your IT requirements with your specific budget.
Our People Make a Difference
This year, we not only expanded our services, but also added to our stellar team.
As a 20-year industry veteran, Nick Russo, joined Host.net as Chief Technology Officer. Nick is responsible for executing the company’s technical vision, identifying emerging technology trends, research & development, creating relevant policy and developing new IT solutions. And to further our customer-first approach, Nick has a deep understanding of customer needs and in designing processes and services to better serve them.
We were also excited to welcome Allie Hernandez as our new Director of Marketing & Partner Development. Allie brings with her a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. She is a great leader and our customers and partners enjoy working with her immensely due to her responsiveness and attention to detail. We are confident that Allie will have a huge impact on making 2017 our biggest and best year yet.
The Right Partnerships are Everything
Forging a partnership with Dasher Technologies, Host.net combined the two company’s technology expertise and network services to address a myriad of IT challenges for customers across a variety of vertical markets including education, healthcare, enterprise and government.
Through its partnership with CLAdirect, Host.net expanded its geographical reach into Latin America – bringing the Americas closer together through Host.net’s reliable, high capacity connectivity. This positioned Host.net even further to provide innovative and customized network connectivity options to Latin American companies.
We Are Where the Action Is
Host.net joined the South Florida Tech community at this year’s IT Palooza, the biggest tech event of its kind in the region. As a founding member, Host.net helps organize the event every year and is dedicated to promoting the group’s goal of growing the South Florida tech ecosystem and in bringing together industry experts.
