Host.net Talking Security and Datacenter Efficiency This Week

Host.net_Tech_Humanized_logo-blue-RGBHost.net is busy this week spreading the word about all we do for our clients – from datacenter efficiency to network security. We are always working to educate our current and potential clients/partners about the need for a trusted partner that can ensure data is protected and available at all times. We are doing this in a variety of ways, including publishing informative articles and participating in industry discussions with our peers.

First, Host.net Facility Director Daniel Calderon penned an article for DatacenterDynamics (DCD) examining  energy efficiency and its cost to datacenter operators. He explains the options enterprises and SMBs can expect from their outsourced datacenter provider – without having to do to extreme and costly measures. The piece has already received very positive response from throughout the industry, and we look forward to a continued partnership with DCD.

Along with our recent article in DCD, Host.net will also participate in a JSA TV Virtual Roundtable called Network Security in 2016 & Beyond on Friday, Sept. 23. Our CTO, Nick Russo, will join moderator Ronald Gruia, Director of Emerging Telecoms for Frost & Sullivan, and a panel of fellow experts, to discuss the importance of ensuring network security strategies evolve as new threats and technologies emerge. This will be an incredibly worthwhile and relevant event. Viewers can register and access a live stream of the roundtable here.

At Host.net we strongly believe that education and outreach are important pieces of what we do. Engaging with partners and peers creates a dialogue that helps us ensure we are providing the best and most needed solutions on the market. We look forward to sharing with you the many upcoming projects we are planning.
